We visit new and interesting places that provide a variety of environments, from easy, flat walks through residential neighborhoods to hilly walks on natural surface trails in parks, cross country, or through the desert.
Las Vegas Century Bicycle Ride
Las Vegas' most exciting annual ride happens on two wheels, as the Las Vegas Century Bicycle Ride & RTC BikeFest rolls onto the valley's streets on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004. The annual event features five routes, ranging from a 22-mile trek through Summerlin to a 110-mile
odyssey that takes riders from the glitz of downtown Las Vegas to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and along the shore of Lake Mead.
Blue Sky International Film Festival
Held annually in Las Vegas, this festival is dedicated to the discovery and exhibition of the best of independent and world films. This Las Vegas festival is usually held each September.
