Best Value Hotels

Save a little on the price of your Las Vegas hotel room, and stay in a great place without all the hype, but with all the service and amentities. These best value Vegas hotels are just that - best values.

Alexis Park Resort, Las Vegas
Once home to celebrities looking for more privacy, this off Strip hotel is convention convenient and government per diem friendly.  The rooms are all oversized suites and all have outside access, which is great for those who love it poolside.  A daily breakfast buffet makes it quick and easy for those in town for business or those who need to get going in the morning. There is also full service dining for those who want something more leisurely.  Convention space at Alexis Park is also plentiful for those small types of conferences and meetings.

Barbary Coast Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas
This small, center Strip, Las Vegas hotel has been around for a while. Its location draws in millions of pedestrians each year. The casino itself is very quaint, as one can probably stand in any spot in the casino and still be able to see the entire casino floor.  This small atmosphere makes it easier for the hotel staff to be able to remember guests’ names.  This is definitely a place where they’ll remember your name.  Rooms are constantly undergoing renovation to keep up with the rest of the Las Vegas hotel rooms, but there is nothing fancy here except pleasant accommodations.

Golden Nugget
Recently purchased by 2 Internet Entrepreneurs, this luxury hotel in Las Vegas is located downtown, offers low limit gambling in a luxurious atmosphere amid the worn and torn downtown Las Vegas area. Rooms are very reasonable considering the type of accommodation that is available at this under valued hotel.

Hard Rock Hotel
Still a cool place to hang your hat, the Hard Rock Hotel has become more mature and realizes that its trendiness has worn off, but it hasn’t lost its rock star charm.  Rooms are above average, and there are plenty of places to indulge in those hedonist tendencies.

Palace Station
While Palace Station is the eldest of the Stations Hotels & Casinos, it offers some great coffee shop specials, up to date hotel rooms, and an old school sports book and poker room, where you’ll often see quite a few old timers.

The Palms
This hipster hotel offers outstanding digs for below average prices. Made famous and ever popular by MTV, this hotel could realistically charge an extra $20 per night with all the amenities it offers.  A celebrity or sports figure is often seen partying here.  Hotel rooms are contemporary and some even offer bachelor / bachelorette friendly suites with brass poles.

Treasure Island
Sister property to the Mirage, now known as TI, Treasure Island continues to increase the bar for what a Las Vegas Strip hotel has to offer.  Their pirate ship battle has been revamped to include scantily clad maidens and a more adult oriented theme.  The arcade has also been 86ed to now house a large bar and restaurant.  TI is also making an attempt at the Ultra Lounge scene with Mist. Rooms are themed and very comfortable, and are continually being renovated to keep their standards at the top of the bar.
